The research revealed that Baba Ramdev made the statement during a private news channel event in 2018 and has not made any such recent remark.

Fact Check
To verify the claim, we closely examined the viral video and noticed the logo of NDTV in the clip. Based on this clue, we searched NDTV’s official YouTube channel using relevant keywords and found the original video uploaded on September 16, 2018. In the full video, Baba Ramdev is seen making the viral statement during the NDTV Youth Conclave. During the discussion, the anchor had asked him a question regarding rising fuel prices, and Ramdev responded with the now-viral remarks in that context.
During further searches, we also found reports about the same statement on the website of Oneindia dated September 17, 2018. The report quoted Ramdev as saying that if the government allowed him to set up petrol pumps and offered some tax relief, he could provide fuel at Rs 35-40 per litre. He also suggested bringing petroleum products under GST, preferably in the 5 to 12 percent slab, to provide relief to consumers.
Our research confirmed that Baba Ramdev’s viral statement dates back to 2018 and has no connection with the recent rise in fuel prices.
Conclusion
The viral post was found to be misleading. Baba Ramdev made the statement in September 2018 during a private news channel event. His old remarks are now being circulated out of context to create confusion over the current fuel price situation.

Claim
An X user (formerly Twitter) shared the viral clip with the caption:“A leopard snatched a man from a moving train.”The link, archived version, and screenshot of the post are provided below.
Fact Check
On closely examining the video, several visual inconsistencies were noticed. The leopard’s body appears distorted at multiple points in the clip. In some frames, parts of the animal’s body seem to merge into the background, while in others, sections appear incomplete or disappear entirely — something not typically seen in authentic footage. In the final part of the video, where the leopard is allegedly shown attacking a passenger, the person’s hands, limbs, and body also appear blurred and distorted. Additionally, unusual and selective blurring can be observed throughout the video, indicating possible editing or AI manipulation.
To further verify the clip, we scanned the viral video using the AI detection tool Sightengine. According to the results, the video showed an 86 percent probability of being AI-generated.
As part of the research , we also analysed the clip using another AI detection platform, UndetectableTM AI, which likewise indicated that the viral video was AI-generated.
Conclusion
Our research found that the viral video claiming to show a leopard dragging away a passenger from a moving train is fake. The clip is AI-generated and does not depict a real incident.

Fact Check
To verify the claim, we extracted key frames from the viral video and conducted a reverse image search. During the research, we found a report published on the Navbharat Times website dated February 26, 2026, which contained visuals matching the viral vi
According to the report, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Korea district, Chhattisgarh, arrested a corrupt police station in-charge while accepting a bribe of ₹25,000. After being caught, the officer attempted to assert authority using his uniform and resisted the search procedure, but soon gave up. Further verification using keywords from the Navbharat Times report led to a similar story published by Dainik Bhaskar, which also contained the same visuals.
Additionally, a related context about the satirical “Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)” trend was found in a Times Now Hindi report, which explains that the term emerged as an online satire following a controversial remark attributed to the Chief Justice of India regarding unemployed youth. The statement was later clarified.
Conclusion
The research confirms that the viral video has no connection with the ‘Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)’. The original footage is from a February 2026 incident in which Chhattisgarh Police sub-inspector Abdul Munaf was arrested by the ACB in a bribery case involving ₹25,000. The video has been falsely linked to a misleading narrative on social media.

A verified X (formerly Twitter) user shared the viral clip and claimed that during a joint press conference, Jaishankar said:“I request Marco Rubio and Trump to hand over the handlers of the Cockroach Party because they are Pakistani and Iranian proxy groups.”
Fact Check
To verify the claim, we converted the viral clip into key frames and conducted a reverse image search. During the research, we found the original video uploaded on May 24, 2026, on the official YouTube channel of the Ministry of External Affairs.
The video was captioned:“Press conference of EAM Dr S Jaishankar and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.”
A review of the full press conference confirmed that Jaishankar made no mention of any “Cockroach Party,” its alleged handlers, or any Pakistani or Iranian proxy network. Further verification of the official transcripts published by both the Indian Ministry of External Affairs and the United States Department of State also found no references to the terms “Cockroach Party,” “handlers,” “Pakistani proxy,” or any statements matching the viral claim.

In the final stage of verification, the viral clip was analysed using an AI detection tool. The analysis suggested that the audio had been manipulated and that the video appeared to be edited. The tool indicated a 63 percent probability that the clip had been altered using AI-based editing techniques.

The research confirms that the viral claim is fake. S. Jaishankar did not make any statement regarding the “Cockroach Party” or its alleged handlers during the press conference. The viral clip has been edited and is being shared with misleading claims.

Fact Check
To verify the viral claim, we performed a reverse search using key frames from the video. During the research, we found the original video uploaded on the Facebook page of ANI on May 13, 2026.
The caption of the post read:“War does not seem to be ending…” Ravi Kishan warns the country about the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.At around the 4-minute-40-second timestamp, an ANI reporter asks Ravi Kishan about Rahul Gandhi distancing himself from the CBI Director selection process. Responding to that question, Ravi Kishan makes the remarks that later went viral.
This clearly establishes that Ravi Kishan was not referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but was commenting on Rahul Gandhi. In his response, he says that “it is good that he has freed himself” and refers to Rahul Gandhi as an “azad parinda” (free bird).
During the research, we also found the same video posted on Ravi Kishan’s official X account on May 23. The caption of the post stated:“Congress should now free its prince Rahul Gandhi.”This further confirms that the viral clip has been misleadingly edited and shared out of context
Conclusion
The research found that Ravi Kishan’s remarks in the original video were directed at Rahul Gandhi, not Prime Minister Narendra Modi. An edited portion of the video has been falsely shared with a misleading claim.

An X user (@Naira_Seth1) shared the clip alleging it reflects “majoritarian extremism disguised as politics,” suggesting that Suvendu Adhikari made communally charged and unconstitutional statements.
Fact Check
A detailed analysis of the video shows clear signs of manipulation. The person appearing in the latter part of the clip does not match Suvendu Adhikari.
Additionally, the video was tested using an AI detection tool (Hive Moderation), which indicated a 98.8% probability of AI-generated content, particularly around the 0:25 timestamp.
Further verification through reverse image search of key frames led to an original press byte of Suvendu Adhikari posted by PTI News on May 6. In that authentic video, he is seen speaking about taking strict legal action against criminals, with no mention of any religious community or communal statements.

Research by the CyberPeace Research Wing confirmed that both viral visuals had been doctored and were being shared with false claims.

The side-by-side comparison surfaced amid years of criticism by Donald Trump targeting Joe Biden’s age and mental fitness. Trump shared the image after his China visit, which included high-level discussions on trade and the Middle East conflict, along with a temple tour and tea meeting with Xi Jinping. Meanwhile, another manipulated image spread rapidly online, falsely portraying Trump bowing while greeting Xi Jinping. The image circulated widely in several languages, accompanied by captions attacking Trump
However, a review of the The White House livestream on YouTube showed that Joe Biden greeted Xi Jinping immediately after he stepped out of his vehicle and shook hands with him before both leaders walked inside together. At no point in the footage did Biden turn his back or look away from Xi.
Further examination also revealed inconsistencies in the manipulated Trump image. A subtle crease visible near the side pocket of Trump’s suit jacket in authentic footage was missing in the viral version, indicating that the image had been digitally edited.
Conclusion
The research found that both viral images were digitally manipulated and shared with misleading narratives. Neither Joe Biden ignored Xi Jinping during their 2023 meeting, nor did authentic footage show Donald Trump bowing before the Chinese president.

Further verification found the same visuals in a video posted by NDTV India on March 21, 2026, with a caption stating that it showed stone pelting on police during unrest in Mathura after the death of “Farasa Wale Baba.”

A reverse image search of the viral photograph reveals that the woman is actually Dr. Nivedita Ekbote, Principal of Modern College and Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha in Maharashtra. Nivedita Ekbote originally shared this photograph on December 18, 2024, across her official social media accounts on X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and Instagram. According to the caption, the image was taken during the Pune Book Festival, where she met the Union Education Minister along with her parents.
In a public clarification, she stated that her photograph was being misused online. She added that the image was taken at a public event with several dignitaries and strongly condemned the circulation of false and misleading claims using it.

Further verification from credible news reports confirms that Manisha Mandhare, who is linked to the NEET paper leak case, is a senior botany teacher from Pune. She was reportedly appointed as a subject expert by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for NEET-related processes. Her identity is completely different from the woman seen in the viral image.

During the research, keyword-based searches revealed no credible reports linking Kangana Ranaut to any such statement regarding NEET paper leaks or Hindus. We also reviewed Kangana Ranaut’s official social media accounts. On May 20, 2026, she tagged Congress leader Surendra Singh Rajput in an X post and clearly termed the viral statement as fake. She also criticized Rajput and the Congress party over the spread of misinformation. Notably, Surendra Rajput later deleted his original post.
On May 21, Rajput reposted Kangana’s clarification, stating that after her denial it was clear that the poster and statement were not hers. He also said he had deleted his post. Under his post, a user shared screenshots of the deleted content.
Conclusion
Our research confirms that Kangana Ranaut has not made any such statement related to the NEET paper leak or Hindus. The viral claim is fake.

A review of journalist Helle Lyng’s official social media account shows the original video posted by her on 18 May. In the video, she can be heard asking:
“Prime Minister Modi, why don’t you take some questions from the freest press in the world?” In her caption, she stated that she did not expect PM Modi to take her question and highlighted press freedom rankings, noting Norway’s position at the top and India’s at 157th. She also emphasized that questioning cooperating governments is part of journalistic responsibility.
Further verification of the full press event published on the official Government of Norway portal shows no question related to alleged downed aircraft or military losses.
Additional reporting by Al Jazeera also confirms that a Norwegian journalist questioned PM Modi in Oslo about why he does not engage in open media briefings.
