CyberPeace Corps

The CyberPeace Corps, a global volunteer-driven initiative by CyberPeace, unites people from diverse backgrounds to collaboratively create a secure and peaceful cyberspace. Volunteers worldwide contribute to this noble cause, fostering an environment where individuals can leverage the Internet for growth and success in an enabling manner.

The CyberPeace Initiative

The CyberPeace Initiative is a commitment to create a secure online space for everyone. Our focus lies on building a strong base of reliable information on the Internet, promoting the concept of "Technology for Good." To achieve this we've initiated a nationwide volunteer engagement program with the goal of forming a community of 9 million CyberPeace Ambassadors, First Responders, and Volunteers. Our endeavour is to actively counter misinformation, deep fakes and extend our influence into rural, marginalized, and vulnerable segments of society.

Background:

In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, cyber threats such as phishing, identity theft, online fraud, misinformation, and cyberbullying have become increasingly prevalent. These threats compromise individual safety, organizational security, and national digital infrastructure. To mitigate these risks and build a resilient cyberspace, it is essential to empower citizens with cyber hygiene practices and awareness.

CyberPeace Corps, an initiative by the CyberPeace Foundation, aims to build a community of digitally aware and responsible netizens who can act as catalysts for change by spreading awareness and fostering cyber hygiene practices.

Objective of Master Trainer Program:

  • Master Trainer program - The Master Trainer program aims to serve as an all-encompassing guide, offering in-depth insights, resources, and strategies to elevate the impact of Misinformation.
  • First Responder Training- This comprehensive document will delve into case studies, real-life scenarios, and detailed explanations of activities, empowering Master Trainers with a clear understanding of how to successfully navigate and conduct the training sessions.
  • LMS Module - The LMS content will consist of videos corresponding to each module in the Table of Contents. These videos will be accompanied by carefully crafted scripts. Each script is designed to closely follow the content outlined in its respective module, striking a harmonious balance between clarity and audience engagement.
  • Training PPT - The PowerPoint presentation (PPT) will adopt a minimalistic approach, focusing more on visual elements such as graphics and videos while keeping textual content to a minimum.
