The KIIT – CyberPeace Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) was successfully inaugurated at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, marking a significant step towards strengthening India’s cyber innovation, education, and research ecosystem.

The newly established Centre of Excellence was envisioned as a collaborative platform to foster advanced research, innovation, and capacity building in cybersecurity and emerging technologies. The initiative brought together academia, industry experts, and cybersecurity practitioners to build a future-ready ecosystem that can address evolving digital threats and challenges.

During the inauguration, the Centre was highlighted as a dedicated hub for knowledge exchange, policy dialogue, and technology-driven solutions aimed at strengthening cyber resilience and digital trust. The initiative also underscored the importance of nurturing young talent and equipping students with the skills and expertise required to tackle complex cybersecurity issues.

The Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) is expected to play a key role in empowering the next generation of cybersecurity leaders, enabling them to contribute towards building a safer digital environment. Through research initiatives, training programs, innovation labs, and collaborative projects, the Centre aims to drive impactful solutions that support national and global cybersecurity goals.
