When Cricket Fever Met AI Innovation

In a unique fusion of technology, innovation, and sporting excitement, GDG Ranchi, in collaboration with CyberPeace, successfully hosted the Agentic Premier League (Build with AI) on the eve of World Telecommunication and Information Society Day at Level7, Ranchi, a unit of CyberPeace Café.

The event brought together developers, AI enthusiasts, innovators, and cricket fans for an immersive experience that combined a live cricket watch party with an intensive AI innovation sprint. The initiative aimed to encourage participants to explore the transformative potential of Agentic AI while fostering collaborative problem-solving and hands-on learning.

Inspiring Keynote and Mentorship

A major highlight of the event was the presence of Vineet Kumar Gupta, Founder & Global President of CyberPeace, who interacted with participants and provided valuable insights into the rapidly evolving landscape of Agentic AI. During his mentoring sessions, he emphasized the importance of responsible technology development, innovation-driven problem-solving, and building AI solutions that create meaningful social impact.

His guidance inspired participants to think beyond conventional applications of AI and explore future-ready solutions that address real-world challenges.

The Agentic Premier League featured a dynamic mix of learning, collaboration, and innovation, including:

  • Cricket Watch Party combined with a live Coding Sprint
  • Hands-on AI Agent development using Gemini API and Firebase
  • Participation of over 200 selected developers and innovators
  • Collaborative brainstorming, rapid prototyping, and solution development
  • Mentorship sessions from industry experts and technology leaders
  • Development of more than 20 AI project ideas and functional prototypes

Participants worked in teams to conceptualize, design, and develop AI-powered agents capable of solving practical challenges across various domains. The event encouraged rapid experimentation, teamwork, and the application of emerging AI technologies in innovative ways.
