Shri P C Haldar, IPS

GOI REPRESENTATIVE FOR PEACE TALKS IN ASSAM & MEGHALAYA

A former IPS Officer, he has deep interest in all aspects of national security with focus on internal peace and social stability. He has served in Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and the North East Region. He was former Director of Intelligence Bureau. He was a member of the National Security Advisory Board (NSAB) for two terms from 2010 to 2014. He was also a member of the Task Force on National Security setup by the Government of India under the chairmanship of Shri Naresh Chandra. He has vast experience of working in the field of Conflict Resolution. He was actively involved with the peace process with NAGA groups in th the nineties. He is currently the Government of India Representative for Peace Talks in Assam & Meghalaya.
