Vineet Kumar is a serial Social Entrepreneur, Social activist, Founder and President of Cyber Peace Foundation. Cyber Peace Foundation, an award-winning NGO and global think tank of cyber security and policy experts having HQ at Ranchi, Jharkhand, India, was formed with the vision of pioneering cyber peace initiatives to build collective resiliency against cyber crimes and global threats of cyber warfare. He has over 17 years of experience in the field of cyber security.

Vineet Kumar, the Founder and President of “Cyber Peace Foundation” having experience of over 17 years in the cyber security domain had his humble beginning to his Serial Social Entrepreneur and Social Activist spree when he founded “National Anti-Hacking Group” which in the year 2003 was the first social organization to work against cyber criminals and cyber crime. NAG proudly boasts association of more than 10,000 cyber security experts from across globe. He stands to be the global pioneer of the concept of cyber peace amongst nations in the proliferating era of cyber warfare when cyber competency has become a competitive advantage for the nations.

Accreditation and Media presence started flowing at the tender age of 14 with him being quoted as Youngest IT Security Guru, CEO & Social Entrepreneur and continues till date with various feathers to his cap like the very prestigious Chevening Scholarship by the British Government, International Visitor Leadership Programme(IVLP) by the United States Department of States alongside 5 other International awards & honors. 17 National recognitions including, the eminent recognition of National Youth Award 2014-15 bestowed upon by the Government of India.

With an enormous background and operational insights from having served as a “Chief Technology Officer (CTO) & Head of the State Government agency, Cyber Defense Research Centre (CDRC) of Jharkhand Police, Government of Jharkhand”. He has received versatile acclamation as well as gained media recognition for his entrepreneurial achievements since the age of 14. The apex bodies in the field of Business, governance, social sectors, educational bodies, aviation and bodies affiliated to International Organizations, United Nation Youth Assembly have all not only credited the contribution but also have also ceremonially recognized & awarded Vineet’s selfless effort.

He continues to be at the forefront to ensure knowledge sharing among multi stakeholders of society through various International and National platforms such as TEDx, Trend Mico Executive Defense Summit, Internet Governance Forum, Ground Zero, BASIS, c0c0n etc. to name a few. He has also been part of Indian Government delegation to foreign countries.

In the capacity of member of various forums such as “Cyber Security Task Force of NASSCOM-DSCI” setup by the Hon. Prime Minister of India, “Expert Group on Cyber Security, AICTE, NCPCR Govt of India” and Member of the Advisory Council of Public Interest Registry, US among many others, Vineet continues to serve the nation through his prudent initiatives in the ever-evolving cyber threat landscape.
